Ashley Patton is an Executive Advisor of SAIS Global Women in Leadership, and last year fulfilled the role of Marketing Chair. She is a second-year M.A. student concentrating in Conflict Management and International Law and Organizations. She studied on the Washington, DC campus her first year of SAIS, will be studying in Bologna at the SAIS Europe campus during the fall semester of her second year, and will return to DC for her final semester. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Global Studies at UNC Chapel Hill and has had previous professional experience with the United States Department of Justice, a variety of United Nations branches, a marketing firm focusing on progressive non-profits and political campaigns, several non-profits focused on social justice, and the United States Congress. Ashley is also a web and research assistant at SAIS’s Foreign Policy Institute.
