Amanda Sztein serves as Vice President of Programming of SAIS Global Women in Leadership. As a first-year MA candidate, she focuses on Latin American Studies and Emerging Markets. She currently works with the World Bank’s Jobs Group. Previously, she worked for the Bretton Woods Committee, which develops international economic cooperation and fosters effective international institutions as forces for global good, and Theater Delta, an interactive theater company that seeks to create social change via improvisational and participatory performances.
Prior to SAIS, Amanda earned a BA in Economics and Contemporary European Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated with honors. As a Carolina Research Scholar, she completed projects on mega-sport events and human rights. Upon graduation from SAIS, she plans to pursue a career in international relations.
